# Privacy Policy

What we collect when you visit this site or ask for a tour, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to change or delete it.

Last updated September 29, 2026 Prodigy Bilingual Daycare, operating as Prodigy Montessori · Saratoga Springs, Utah

## In short

- We ask a parent for a name, phone number, email address, and the child’s age or program. We never ask for a child’s name, birth date, or health details.
- We do not sell personal information.
- Nothing you type into the tour form is sent to Google Analytics or Google Ads.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we hold at any time: info@prodigydaycare.com.

## What we collect

### When you request a tour

Our tour request form asks for:

- Parent or guardian name (required)
- Phone number (required)
- Email address (required)
- Your child's age or program: Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, or Not sure (required)
- Desired start date (optional)
- Schedule needed (optional)
- A message (optional)

This includes limited information about your child (their age or program and when you would like care to begin). **We do not ask for your child's name, date of birth, health details, or photograph on this form.** Please do not put them in the message box. If you do, we will treat them with the same care as everything else here.

### Automatically, when you visit

- **Analytics.** We use **Google Analytics 4** to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the referring site or ad campaign (including the Google campaign tags in the link you clicked).
- **Advertising measurement.** If you arrived from one of our ads, the campaign tags in the link (such as `gclid` and `utm_*`) are kept with your tour request so we can tell which ads lead to enquiries. We use **Google Ads**.
- **Server logs.** Our host, InMotion Hosting, keeps standard technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting. We keep them only as long as needed for those purposes.

We **do not** send your name, phone, email, message, or any other form answer to our analytics tools.

### What we do not collect

We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children; anything about a child comes from a parent or guardian.

## How we use it

- To reply to your tour request and arrange a visit.
- To answer questions you send us.
- To keep the website secure and stop spam (see "Spam protection" below).
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To measure whether our Google advertising works, using aggregate counts only.

We do not use your details for anything unrelated, and we do not use them for automated decisions about you.

## Spam protection

The form uses a hidden field and **Cap**, a proof-of-work check that runs in your browser. It is hosted on our own website, sets no third-party cookies, and does not send your information to an outside captcha service.

## Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. This site uses:

- **Essential:** a session cookie (`grav-site`) that keeps the website working, such as protecting the tour form from forged submissions. It expires after about 30 minutes of inactivity and is not used for tracking.
- **Analytics:** Google Analytics sets cookies (named `_ga` and `_ga_…`) that recognize a returning browser so visits can be counted.
- **Advertising:** because we use Google Ads, Google may set advertising cookies (such as `_gcl_au`) that let us measure which ads led to a tour request. Remarketing is switched on so we can show our ads to people who visited the site.

We do not show a cookie pop-up. Utah law does not require one for a business of our size, and we do not sell your information. You can still control this: block or delete cookies in your browser, install [Google's Analytics opt-out add-on](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), turn off ad personalization at [adssettings.google.com](https://adssettings.google.com), or enable "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control in your browser. The site works without any of these cookies, and you can always call us instead.

Each time you submit the tour form, a conversion signal ("a request was sent") is passed to Google Ads. It contains none of your answers.

## Who we share it with

Only with services that help us run the site, and only what they need:

| Service | Purpose | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| **InMotion Hosting** | Hosts the site and stores tour requests | Web hosting provider |
| **Zoho Mail** | Delivers tour-request notifications to us and handles our email | Email provider |
| **Google (Analytics and Ads)** | Aggregate usage and ad measurement | No form answers are sent |

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a child or others. If the school is sold or transferred, records may pass to the new owner, who must honor this policy.

## Where tour requests are stored and how long we keep them

Each tour request is saved on our website's server and also emailed to the school's owner, who is the person who follows up. Access is limited to the owner through a password-protected admin area and the school's Zoho mailbox.

We keep tour requests for **12 months** from the date received. If a family enrolls, the information moves into the enrollment file. After that, we delete the request from the website and from email.

## Security

We use reasonable measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected access, spam protection, and limiting who can see submissions. No website or email is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive details through the form.

## Your choices

You can ask us to:

- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it.

Email <info@prodigydaycare.com> or call [(801) 856-9468](tel:+18018569468). We will confirm we received your request and respond within **45 days**, and usually much sooner. We may need to verify that you are the parent or guardian who sent the request before we act on it. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and limit ad tracking in your browser or device settings.

### Utah residents

The Utah Consumer Privacy Act applies only to businesses with at least $25 million in annual revenue, so it does not legally apply to us. We choose to follow its main principles anyway: you may ask to know, correct, or delete the personal information we hold, and you may opt out of targeted advertising (see "Cookies" above for how). We do not sell personal information or use it for anything other than what this policy describes. If you are unhappy with our response, you may contact the Utah Division of Consumer Protection.

## Children’s privacy

This website is for parents and guardians. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

## Links to other sites

Our footer links to Instagram and Facebook, and our directions link opens Google Maps. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

## Changes

We will post any update on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted near the tour form.
